Anne is one of our talented artists participating in "Artists for the Earth " fundraiser on Sept 7th
Anne?s work often begins as an idea, an installation or performance which she documents digitally. It is from this documentation that much of her other artwork develops.
This work may take the form of a digital print, a projection or a mixed media painting. She uses traditional and non traditional mediums that relate strongly to her subject matter.
Anne has recently been exploring the expressive use of grass tree resin and native soils collected from the fire affected areas of Toodyay and Gnarabup.
Anne has worked at her studio in Willagee since graduating her BFA at UWA in 2007, where she runs life drawing and mixed media art classes, completes public commissions and prepares work for impending exhibitions.
Presently Anne is exploring networks; how they connect us and divide us and how the nature of the network is evolving from a path once earthy and physical into something more virtual and ethereal.
